Description:
Cuttlefish ink is a natural food coloring and seasoning used in cooking with a thick consistency. They will give black color and a special taste with a touch of the sea to different types of pasta (spaghetti, pasta, noodles), risotto and other dishes of Mediterranean and Adriatic cuisine. They are used both in the preparation of sauces and in dough for dumplings, rolls, pizza, pastries and flour confectionery (when baking, the taste of ink evaporates). Normally it is not used with meat, with the exception of chicken fillet in Spanish paella.
