AROSA, one of the TOP 5 largest suppliers of food products for the HoReCa sector in Russia, has implemented a project to implement a unified warehouse management system (WMS) TopLog in its following warehouse complexes - in Sochi and Krasnodar. Previously, the system was successfully launched at a pilot facility, a warehouse complex in St. Petersburg. The introduction of WMS allowed the branch to improve accounting accuracy and productivity, the level of service, as well as ensure the effective development of the logistics network and the quality of PL services. The replication of WMS to warehouses in Sochi and Krasnodar allowed AROSA to further increase the efficiency of logistics operations, minimize the impact of the human factor and make the work of warehouse complexes more transparent and controlled. During the implementation process, special attention was paid to the quality of product acceptance, shipping and billing operations. Implemented solutions include: - Acceptance checklists: The system requires filling out checklists with key parameters before and after acceptance. (For example, the temperature in the car body, the temperature of the product, compliance with the temperature regime, problems with documents, etc.); - Photographing the product: acceptance of the product is possible only after photographing, followed by linking the images to documents and transferring them to the corporate system; - Control of the presence of barcodes and VHCs: the system checks the presence of barcodes (WK) and weight and dimensional characteristics (VHCs) of the nomenclature, and in case of their absence requires their registration before acceptance; - Control of expiration dates during acceptance and control of the OSG of the goods on the leftovers. When the OSG threshold is reached, WMS changes the quality of the goods on the balance and plans to move them to a special zone, making the goods unavailable for regular sale.; - The auto-inventory functionality made it possible to complete the weight of uncalibrated goods faster; - Assembly tasks are issued by the system sequentially according to flights and unloading points in accordance with the route, while the system automatically prompts the optimal pallet loading sequence, which speeds up the process of picking and shipping, and increases the accuracy of operations. The work of the branches under the management of a single WMS will allow AROSA to optimize the creation of new business processes, the adjustment of existing ones, the training of warehouse staff, and the opening of the following sites.
